Today marks exactly two years since Ghana’s Dancehall Heavyweight artiste Livingstone Etse Satekla, popularly known as Stonebuoy, lost his dear mother.
On July 29, 2015, his mother, the late Catherine Satekla was rushed to the 37 military hospital, but death laid its icy hands on her.
Her passing was a shocking blow to him, as he is reported to have often praised her for all that she had done for him.
Friends were around to support Stonebuoy during his mother’s funeral two years ago
On the second anniversary of her passing, he remembered her with a touching tribute.
“I wanna borrow a nerve of steel, to be strong enough to steal just one of the days from 2 years ago if I’m not asking for too much mummy to spend with you tomorrow…
Tomorrow indeed because only you and God know the excitement I ‘ll derive from the time in between…
I ‘ll get lost in trance, holding you fiercely in that grip.
May stop the time, so that tomorrow will never come till we meet again”
