Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah has courted disdain from many Ghanaians ever since he prophesied of impending deaths to certain unnamed dignitaries in the country.
However, the founder and leader of the Glorious Word Ministry has seen one of his ‘doom’ prophesies come true following the death of ace journalist Alhaji Iddrisu Bature.
Delivering a sermon during the 31st watch-night service, the prophet predicted that Ghana is set to lose another big media personality in 2018 following the demise of Adom FM’s Kwadwo Asare Baffour Acheampong, popularly known as KABA, last year.
The prophecy from the pastor was met with derision from a number of Ghanaians, who believed Owusu Bempah was just looking for a way to get attention.
However, just a week into the New Year and the prophet seems to have been vindicated, with news spreading that Alhaji Iddrisu Bature has passed on.
The veteran journalist used to be the Editor-in-Chief of the Al-Hajj newspaper before his demise on Friday, January 5, 2018.
He died at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital after battling with a yet-to-be-named illness.
Well, it’s obvious that many people do not like to hear prophesies of death, but Owusu Bempah will feel vindicated after he warned of such a loss before it happened.
The big question however, is can the death of Alhaji Bature be linked to Owusu Bempah’s prophecy? What is your opinion on his prophesies?
